Hi,
I'm on Vista HPr and I use a Dynex/Broadcom wireless card to connect to the
net. The connection is fine and I am online just fine. But having the AVG
Anti-Virus Program with Firewall means I have to turn off its firewall when
I connect so that I don't have 2 firewalls running at the same time (my
wireless connection is on WPA Personal and has its own firewall. I bought
the AVG w/Firewall program before I started using the wireless connection
etc)

But when I turn AVG's firewall off, Vista goes nuts giving me all these
warnings etc. So I figure it does not recognize the wireless firewall.

Am I doing something wrong?

Many Thanks for any guidance,.....Frank B.

Am I missing something?
You're using WPA on the wireless router with a built in NAT firewall?
Having a software firewall running also should not cause any problems.
The NAT 'firewall' in the router only helps keep others out; it does not do
what a software firewall is supposed to do, which is help stop unauthorized
OUTGOING or INCOMING traffic.
