Hello,

I've just upgraded to vista and am having a problwm with dialogue
windows.

I'm unable to interact with dialogue windows when I attempt to click
on a button (within the dialogue) immediately after Vista starts up.

I can click on the title bar and the window gets focus, but it won't
let me do anything with it.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. After start up I cannot click inside
dialogue windows.
For example: Start -> Computer, the window shows up and there's no way to
click on icons disc C, dics D. BUT when I maximalize the same window
everything works fine. Not every dialogue window can be maximalized. When I
want to delete a shortcut from my desktop, there's dialogue window "Are you
sure....... Yes No". I am not able to confirm the action with mouse nor
touchpad. Keybord works. etc. etc.
The only way I found to quickly get rid of this bug is: immediately after
Vista start up, click Start -> Hibernation. When you wake up your computer
everything is allright.
It's very strange.
Anybody please help.
Thank you

This is also driving me mad - it only happens sometimes - mostly when I try
and use battery power on my laptop. I cannot click on anything in dialog
boxes - the computer behaves as if I've clicked on something outside the box.
It also seems to happen to some web links, which means I cannot click on
them either and the computer thinks I have clicked on another page. I have
no idea how to solve this. I have to resort to using keys to navigate the
boxes when this irritating bug kicks in.

Please help us!
