Windows fails to come out of hibernation about half the time. I can't find a
hotfix or reference for this anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a HP Pavilion dv9010us notebook, clean install of Vista Premium.

Thanks!

I have a dv9000 laptop with Vista Premium and then upgraded to Ultimate and
in either case I have not had a problem? Have you called HP? If you did a
clean install, did you go to HP's site and install software related to the
operation of the laptop with the O/S?

Make sure you have installed the ACPI drivers and other power management
related installs from the HP site (use Vista version obviously). If that
fails, see if there is an updated BIOS for your precise model.

Make sure you are pressing the hardware power button to resume from
Hibernation or Hybrid Sleep, not just moving the mouse or pressing a key
which only works for Sleep.
