Really?
If you tell us a bit more about what happens when you try unzipping them,
someone might even be able to help you.

Ok, Sorry!
Obviously I have windows Vista and the file is a .zip file ( a book that I
am trying to download from audiobooks.net) it shows up as a windows media
player file but when i click to open it from windows media player the
message is that wmp can not play this type of .zip file windows media
player does not recognize this type of file.
Maybe I am downloading it wrong? I download easudio books from other sites
such as net library and audible with no problem.

is it a .zip file or a .wmp/.wmv file?
If it is in .zip format, you would need to extract it before trying to play
it.

you have extracted the file inside the .zip first haven't you?

It is a .zip file and i downloaded winzip ( i had thought it came with
Vista) so now I have unzipped the file and windows media player will still
not play it --saying it is a unrecognized file format?/

What is the unzipped file's file extension?
