Hi, I've hooked up my xbox360 and my computer and moniter, because I don't
have a tv, and I can't get any sound. It worked fine when I was using xp,
but now nothing. The pictures great, but still no sound. I can't go back to
xp because I'm using a compaq computer and installing Vista messed up my way
of installing xp off the other hard drive. Could anyone please help me get
sound. It's driving me nuts.

Thank you
Sincerely.

Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray (over on the right end of
the task bar) and select Playback Devices. In the window that opens, select
Speakers in the playback device list and click the Properties button. That
should bring up the Speaker Properties window. Go to the Levels tab, and
there should be a Line-In option. It was on by default in XP, but is muted
by default in Vista. HTH.

Mike
