Vista and printer HP5740

I have a wireless network in my home.
I have a HP5740 printer connected to a Windows XP PC, I also have a Visa
Laptop. I have problems printing from the Vista laptop..... sometimes I will
not get a printout...........but if I send the same document to an older HP
printer I get a printout everytime.
help!
 
It's almost impossible to diagnose this problem with the information you
have provided... and even harder since you say it's an intermittant one.

I'd suggest something is interfering with the wireless network... which
could be anything from the microwave to a 2.4ghz cordless phone, either in
your home or one of your neighbors' homes or even another wireless network
in the neighborhood.
