Does anyone know if Office 2003 is supposed to work on Vista business 32?

I have installed offfice 2003. But when I create a Word document I get a
word 2007 instead, and i can't write in it.

Are you sure the computer did not come with a trial offer of Office 2007?

What you describe makes no sense.
If you do not have Office 2007 installed - you are not creating an Office
2007 file.

Microsoft Office 2003 (any version) works fine on Windows Vista (any
version). Sounds like you may have Office 2007 installed somehow? Trial
from the manufacturer?

Look in your Add\Remove . You have something from Office 2007 installed like the Trial version of Office 2007 or a Office Viewer.

It's not only "supposed to," it does.

If you are creating a Word 2007 document, you are running Word 2007.
Did your computer come with a trial version of Office 2007?
