Vista 64Bit and Samsung SH-S183L

I am trying to install Vista 64 Bit on a lean new PC since I cannot go pass
the first setup portion without setup asking for the DVD writer drivers. I
cannot find 64bit drivers for this driver either.

How do I go pass this portion?

Thanks.

Juan,

If it read the Vista DVD on the DVD device it is asking for drivers - I'm
stumped. But if you have two or more DVD's/CD's on the system, disconnect
them and use only one DVD player -or- substitute the DVD device with a
different model as a test.

Can you provide any more info like the model number of the computer if it's
an OEM (Dell, Gateway, etc.) or the model number of the DVD drive in
question?

Hello,

I don't know if somebody can help me.
But I have the same problem than Juan when I want to install Win 7 X64
on my machine. I can't pass the first Step of the installation because a
driver for optical reader is missing.
And I have only one reader/writter.

Model is the same : SH-S183L from samsung.

(Sorry for my bad english)

Click on Download firmware and type in SH-S183L in the search.

There's an SB03 firmware.
