Vista 64 BSOD with IE

I have a problem. Every once in a while when I start IE8 I get the blue
screen of death. It can be several days or a week between the BSOD but I can
not figure out what addon or something else is causing it. It only happens
when I first start IE8. I tried uninstalling IE8 but it still happened with
IE7.

I am guessing that I can one by one enable/disabe the addons to figure out
which one is causing me the problem. Once I figure out which one is the
problem, how do I delete it? I only see a way of disabling the addon not
deleting it.

I just got the BSOD and the first error in the event viewer shows:

"Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN
60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND
TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace
"//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered
through this filter until the problem is corrected."

Also when my Vista 64 machine rebooted it came up wuth the following:

Locale ID: 1033

Hi, Neil.

I'm not techie enough to understand this page, but maybe you can find a clue
here:
Bug Check 0x19: BAD_POOL_HEADER
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms793223.aspx

My favorite place to start tracing BSODs and Stop Codes is:
TROUBLESHOOTING WINDOWS STOP MESSAGES
http://www.aumha.org/a/stop.htm

Or you can just wait. I'm sure a true expert will be along shortly.

Thanks for your response. You may not be much of a techie but you are more
techie than me. I looked at your first URL and it made no sense to me. Your
second URL looks more promising but it will take me some time to figure it
out.

Thanks for your help. If you (or someone else) have other suggestions I
would appreciate it.
