Vista 64 Boot Issue

I did a "clean" install of Vista 64 over an old install of Win Xp on a RAID-0
stripe across two Raptor drives. The RAID-0 stripe is marked as Drive 1 and
my 250 GB storage drive is marked as Drive 0. The install put the MBR on the
storage drive (Drive 0) and the system files on the RAID stripe (Drive 1.)
This results in my needing the Vista DVD to be in the drive to boot at all,
as the system files are missing from Drive 0 and the MBR is missing from
Drive 1.

I want to move the MBR to the RAID-0 stripe, where it should have gone in
the first place, and I'd like to swap the Drive 0/1 designations of the
storage and RAID stripe.

How do I fix this mess?

Trying to repair the MBR using the Vista DVD does nothing, as it detects no
error. I assume it's checking the MBR on Drive 0 and finding it boots
correctly to the system files on Drive 1. Is there a way to force it to
address the lack of MBR on Disk 1?

Thanks.

You need to change the PRIORITY of the drives in your BIOS so that the one
you want to be your system drive is first. The first PRIMARY partition
which is marked active will be the one which becomes your system drive.
