All the previous versions of Vista had never checked my computer for its RAM.
I have 256mb of RAM, (wich runs greatly and I plan to upgrade), but now I
can't install. Before anything, it tells me that it can't install because I
have 256mb of RAM, and I need 512mb. Is there any way to bypass this?

I may be mistaken, but I think the requirement is hard-coded... so, no.

If the install won't install because it says you need 512MB RAM to
install... then, no, you can't install with 256MB's RAM.

Don't know. You could install it on 512 then remove one 256 and see if it
will boot.
