Vista 5308 + VMWare

Hello,
Is it just me, or does Vista Install faster under VMWare ? The Host im
using is my computer + Server 2k3. I decided VMWare would be more sutable
for testing it, and apparently it is. I gave Vista 20 Gig HD space, and
512MB Ram. I installed from my DVD, not an ISO and the install completed in
about 35 minutes (compared to my hour and a half normal system). Just
thought I'd ask anyone else if they had that happen.

Vista is always better to be run on a physical computer - however my
experience would best advice you to go for Virtual Server 2005 R2 to run
Vista in a virtual environment. However, if you want to use VMWare, use the
Server product they ave available.

I was thinking about it. But because i also use my box as my everyday PC
(yes i use Server 2k3 as my desktop OS) I didnt really wanna go that route.
I figured I would try it out. So far, ah its just a little slow. But the
thing that amazed me was that the install was FASTER than a normal physical
computer.
