Yesterday I was one of the dummys who downloaded and
infected my own computer. The virus detector on my
system did not pick up on it and I have since subscribed
to McAfees. It was able to quarantine the virus, but now
my computer is having problems booting. I've had to turn
the machine off and re-start five times before I could
actually get on. Can someone suggest what I need to do
to find the problem. I'm faily computer literate if you
walk me through it (who isn't?)

Thanks!

What virus were you infected with?

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they
were a direct result of my fingers and brain not being synchronized or my
lack of caffeine.

Mcafee and Symantec each have detailed descriptions for removal on their
websites.
