virus?

when i boot up my computer or switch from 1 desktop to
another i get na message that says" can't find
windows\system32\msin.exe. does anyone know what nthis
is?

A Google search turned up a result that suggested you might have had a
virus. Symantec has this to say about it:

<http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[email protected]>

This result contains the assumption that "msin.exe" is a misspelling of
"msmin.exe", which is the executable for Outlook Express.
