I have found a virus (backdoor Trojan)on a windows file
system32\service.exe and don't know what this file is
for.I have tried to repair using Norton but it was unable
to repair. Any sussestions?

Trojans don't infect your files, they create new files that should not be
there. Therefore, the best action is usually to delete them - or if this
worries you, why not rename the affected files.

Y'all might check with Norton Antivirus' online database to see what their
exact instructions for removing this Trojan using NAV are.
