i have several troj/bettinet-a and other troj virus on my

updated a reputable antivirus program, perhaps it's time to pack the
computer away and find something else to find your time.

to download a free antivirus.
But first of all, go to
http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
to scan and remove the viruses.

Disconnect from the Internet.

Get someone to download some removal tools *on another computer* and
use them to clean out your computer.

Get someone to download a virus checker with the latest virus defs *on
another comnputer* and use it to remove any viruses.

Get someone to download a Spyware checker *on another computer* and
the latest defs and clean out your machine.

Get someone to download a virus checker, a personal firewall and
spyware detectors *on another computer* and install them on your
computer. Ensure that they have the latest defs.

All the above could be downloaded *on another machine* and burnt to CD
or put onto a USB memory stick and safely transferred to your machine.

You should now be safe to go back online.

Update and run your virus and spyware checkers every week or so.
