Virus Problems

I had a virus and it destroyed two required files and i
can't find them. can anyone email them to me?
c:\windows\dllreg.exe
c:\wondows\system32\vxdmgr32.exe

Trusting souls will accept emailed files from strangers,
without knowing if the are god or bad.

Run the system file check. You'll need your XP CD. Just pop
the CD in the drive, exit the auto run if it starts, and
click START/run type in sfc /scannow

Those files are part of the virus. You don't want them back.

You need to remove those file references from
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon under the Shell
section (leave explorer.exe there)
and
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows under the Run
section

and your win.ini files

Evidently, your virus cleaner didn't do a good job.
