Virus on XP

Appear I have picked up virus - now can't get into
individual user accounts or administrator on pc. Anyone
know a fix or how to get to dos prompt so i can reinstall
xp?
 
Hi,

Reinstalling over the top won't help, only formatting and doing a clean
install might remove the virus, but doing this also wipes out any data you
have on the drive. Have you tried accessing the system in Safe mode yet by
hitting F8 at startup?
