virus laden e-mail messages

I am being inundated with between six and eight virus e-mails each day for
the past three weeks. They are purported to be from Microsoft with latest
patches or upgrades. Every other message is an undelivered message notice
with a virus. I contacted my ISP and asked if they could help. They said
they couldn't. I'm using dial-up. I tried going to "Mailwasher" but their
site is under construction. Any suggestions?

If it was to the email you put in this posting (not using a fake one yet?)
then expect the results to get worse and worse. I use SpamBayes to clean up
my accounts, but I also use a "fake" email address on the newsgroups.. As
they are not just in "one place" and are favorite harvesting spots for
nefarious programs/people/etc.
