Virus in IE6

Every time I boot up I get an error message from IE6. I
ran a trojan software and it found Adware Popmom in
system32\iefeaturesversion.ex$.which is uncleanable. How
do I uninstall IE6 and reinstall it as it does not show
in my Control Panel Add/Remove programs

Well do you have any Anti-Virus software and etc.? http://www.symantec.com
has some good tips for removing all kinds of viruses, trojans, and worms.

Also, I think that you cannot remove IE6 because it is a component of
Windows.

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware]

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
