Hi,

My Windows XP is totally up-to-date, still I ended up
with a virus infection in file mscache.dll today. I
quarantined and deleted the file after repair was not
possible.

Where can I obtain another Mscache.dll file for Windows
XP (C:\Windows\cache.dll).

Or don't I need that file at all? My computer seems to
be functioning perfectly even through reboot and program
initiations.

Thanks in advance!

Elliot,

You can perform a "repair install" using your original Windows XP CD to
replace any missing files.

Thanks Mike, I will do this. :-)

To - T.C. I actually have the latest version of Adware,
but have not installed it. LOL. I'm also Firewalled,
but obviously a Firewall and Norton AV still isn't
enough. :-(

Again, thanks to you both.
