Try this...click Start>Run. Type "msconfig", enter. Click the Startup tab.
Look for an entry called "vtagent" (or something similar). If you find one,
uncheck it and click OK. Restart the computer to see if the prompt appears.
Have you tried using Google search? You may find your answer there.
By any chance are you on broadband cable? I think it may have something to
do with that.
