Today I got a little yellow triangle icon with an exclamation mark in it
on the bottom bar right hand side. This gave a pop up window saying
Windows - Virtual Memory Minimum too low.
Your system is low on virtual memory, Windows is increasing the size of
your virtual memory paging file. During this process memory requests
for some applications may be denied.

My Cpr has 256MB of memory.

Should I do anything about this???

Try to free up hard drive space so that your virtual
memory can grow as needed. How much free space is there on your hard drive?

Hi,

Do you have Intel Application Accelerator installed? If so, you need to
uninstall it and install the latest version. The older ones are incompatible
with WinXP and can cause this error message.

If not, then try this: Go to System properties/advanced/performance
settings/advanced tab/virtual memory change and disable the swap file.
Reboot. Delete all instances of pagefile.sys from all drives should any
exist, then reverse the original steps and reenable the swap file. Reboot
once more to finish. See if this helps,

Right-click My Cpr, Properties, Advanced tab, Performance Settings button,
Advanced tab, Change button. In the middle see what the Initial size is, and
on the bottom see what Recommended is. If Recommended is *greater* than
Initial, set Initial to Recommended + 2 Mb and set Maximum to double that
size... Make sure that you have the disk space available and be ready to
reboot.
Mine are:
Rec : 550
Min : 552
Max 1104
