Virtual Memory

I keep getting a pop up window that states the following
Director player 6.0 needs 3 meg of virtual memory to work.
My virtual memory is 1532 Mb and is set to - let windows set it
any help Thanks

In addition to what Will said...

The customary setup of Windows XP is to limit the size of user virtual
memory to 2GB out of the total of 4 GB. What this message means is that you
need to add the /3GB switch in bootini to tell Windows to increase the size
of user virtual memory to 3GB out of the total of 4GB. The remaining
virtual memory allows the operating system to be mapped into your 4GB of
virtual memory. You still need to let Windows manage your pagefile..
