Keep getting message when playing games - virtual memory low and causes severe lag. Dont understand this (have 256 kb ram) havent had problem until recently.
How can I increase virtual memory so this stops happening
Any help gladly appreciate
 
XP itself can use all your RAM. To increase your Vram, go to control
panel>settings>Advanced>Settings for Performance. Or just get another 256meg
stick for your games.

256 in minimal for XP. Your page file could also affect
things.
