virtual memory

can someone please tell me how to get rid of some the
stuff i have in my virtual memory to get some extra space.
I have a 20gig harddrive and i constantly get messages
saying i don't have enough memory to do things. if you can
help, please email me at the address above. thank you in
advance, will appreciate any help i can get.

Sounds like yr hd is nearly full, how much free space to you have?
How much memory is installed?
Have you run disk cleanup? though if you have to little free space it may
not run.
