Virtual Memory Query

Ok guys i know its been asked probably hundreds of time but could someone
give me an idea what my virtual memory should be set at please. I have
windows xp pro with 1 gb memory and 80 gig hard drive

The setting is determined by the amount of physical memory that you have and
the programs that you run. There is no "one size fits all". Instead, you
should let the system manage the size of the pagefile.

Having said that, the more physical memory you have the less pagefile you
will need (usually and in general).

The customary recommendation of 1.5 times the amount of physical ram dates
from the days when systems had far less physical ram than is installed in
current systems.
