Here is my problem and I hope someone has a resolutions.
I want to have at least 2 sets of icons and screen
resolutions. One. 1024x768 1 for my everyday use and one
for when I am doing my web design and testing, 800x600.
Bothe would have different sets of icons also. At 1st of
2 desktops, virtual desktops. I installed MS Powertoy for
virtual desktops, but I can't even find a program icon to
start and try using it. Next I searched for virtual
desktop programs and found a few, but none would allow
each desktop to have different screen resolutions. Then I
thought I would set up multiple users in WinXP and found
that didn't solve the problem, which is SO STUPID to me.
So if I had 2 other users wanting to share this PC, they
all better have the same eyesight and agree on 1
resolution or all hell is going to breakout and I guess
the owner of the PC would win and use his settings.
STUPID! It wouldn't be so bad having to change the screen
resolution each time, if and that would be a BIG IF, the
damn icons would stay where they were placed on each
desktop instead of them all moving to the left and to the
top. I don't want to have to move the icons everytime I
change the resolution. So would someone please tell me
how do I solve my problem. Thanks kimvan
