Hi, Popcorn.net tells me via random annoying popups that a user on our home
desktop agreed to a free three day trial and that since there was no
cancellation we must now purchase the service. No one is admitting to
accepting the trial. I need to know if resetting the TCP/IP will eliminate
the tunnel communication, and / or how to just change the IP address of this
computer. When the reminder is first displayed, an IP address appears as
thier proof that we had accepted their terms of agreement. Will it be
redirected if the IP is changed? I am really new at this and would really
appreciate some help, thank you.

It simple, you got a spyware onto your computer, I recommend you download
ad-aware and spybot to get rid of the spyware problem

Do all prep/finishing work and follow instructions to do all scans in
Safe Mode. When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one
of the specialty forums listed at the link above (not here, please).

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
