ViewSonic G810 21" Monitor (Refurbished)

Fry's is selling this monitor for $200 and I need your opinion. Is it a
mistake to buy a refurbished monitor? I've been looking at 19" monitors in
this price range, but I certainly wouldn't mind having something bigger,
especially at this price. It has a 90-day warrenty. If there were a
problem, wouldn't it show up in the first 3 months? Here's the link:

Big monitors are considerably more expensive to repair than small monitors
because the need to
have more circuitry to make the whole show hang together. Other than that,
you pays your nickel
and you takes your chance. By the Way, depending on how your desk or
workstation is set up, do
you have any idea about how far a 21" monitor sticks out from the wall? It's
impressive.

It's about 21" for the G810. I know 'cause I'm sitting in front of one right
now. Very nice display, though, and mine has some years on it.

Heh, I don't have that monitor but I love my IBM 21" monitor.
In addition to how far it sticks out tho....
I have a corner desk with a hutch/shelves. The IBM fits just right with about
1/8" clearance all the way around ('cept the bottom) inside the monitor space
of the hutch<G>.
