Viewing PCX Files

I have a customer that insists on sending what I think is
a spreadsheet, but sending it as a pcx file. I do not
have PaintBrush Pro and cannot open this. Anyone know
how I can open this file??

Try going into Excel and go to File>Open and make sure the list shows all
files. Find your file and try to open it. Otherwise try opening it in a text
editor. Or download Irfanview (or similar) and see if that opens it so that
you can see it at least.

Thanks for the info, but I've already tried everything
except downloading Irfanview(?). Nothing seems to work,
very frustrating!!

have you tried starting a new presentation in powerpoint, then on the slide,
to insert=>picture => from file
 
Irfanview is a very versatile file viewing utility. If it is a picture, it
will almost certainly allow you to view it.
