I’m trying to view favorites in thumbnail view in XP, but have had no
success. I’m just bought a new laptop and am learning XP basically. I have
had no problems in ME or 2k with Thumbnail view but for some reason even with
the thumbnail view selected in two different places it doesn't seem to want
to work in XP(Pro). I have tried this on a number of different computers.
Mostly laptops. I haven't tried it in Home edition, but I’m sure its the
same. If anyone has any ideas on a way to get this to work, it would be
greatly appreciated. They show up as a icon or a big E. I have tried to open
these websites so they are cached , because in ME or 2K they needed to be a
cached site. I’m fresh out of ideas.
Thanks for your help in advance!!!!

There is a fix for this on MVP Kelly's website. Scroll down to Line 162,
left side. Click the link "Restore HTML, HTM, URL Thumb View" to download
the file. Double click the file to merge into the registry.

Why don't you post the question four more times?
