Viewing documents side by side

In Word 2007, is there any way to view windows side by side with only one
ribbon going across the whole screen rather than two separate windows with
separate ribbons?

First Go to Office button > Word Options > Advanced > Display and uncheck "Show
all windows in Taskbar". Open the two documents -- at first you'll only see one
at a time -- and then click View > View Side by Side.
