Hi,

How can I view HTML source code while creating a new message or on messages
send to me?

Thanks,

Yama

On a message you create, that's not possible.

On messages you receive, right-click inside the reading pane and choose View Source.

Actually it does not give me the option. The HTML format defaults to Word
for some odd reason... How can I change this?

Defaults to Word, how? What commands do you see when you right-click in the reading pane while displaying a message?

In Outlook 2007 beta 2 when I right-click on a message in my Inbox I get:

Copy - disabled
Who Is... disabled
Synonyms-> enabled
Translate-> enabled

The message is HTML format. Although on some other message I get the "View
Source Code" option. Also when I open the message of its own I get the
option to view source code by selecting "Other Actions" then "View Source
Code".

-------------------------

The problem is I cannot create a new message with CSS in it anymore as I
used to in Outlook 2003. Is there a way to insert CSS?

Microsoft is working on an article that should be out later this month on what HTML and specifically CSS support Outlook messages will have in OL2007. Hopefully that will answer a lot of the questions around this issue.

Hi Sue,

Yes I hope so too... I really love some of the improvements made in OL2007
but when it comes to performance and its limited ability to display HTML/CSS
it is from far a product I would consider investing in. Hopefully the
article will help me better understand the how-tos.
