View Slide Show Shuts Down Program

Recently, when using ppt 2004 for Mac, when I try to View a presentation in
Slide Show mode, my program shuts down. It does this in files I have created
and in files others have sent to me. It worked fine for two years. Any
suggestions on fixing this?
