Hello,

If I move a subdirectory to a different parent directory it seems to forget
its 'view' settings, i.e. 'thumbnails' , 'details', etc, . How can I
preserve its view settings?

Say yes when it asks if you want to move the desktop.ini file with the
folder. This will preserve customizations and, if you're lucky, view
preferences as well.
