Hi

We are a company that uses a server for all our computers, is there a way we
can set up a powerpoint presentation to open automatically on every screen at
the same time, with no individual having to press start or anything? or can
we set it up from one computer to send and open to all screens?

Thanks

Yes, there are several ways all of which require software development.
Fundamentally, a Windows Service loads and runs when the OS loads and runs.
The service is used to set a benchmark for timing and synchronization across
the network. Microsoft Synch Framework manages the threading. All kinds of
activity being developed in audio-video these days.

IMO it would remain clumsy as Microsoft has not made it possible for
developers to control the presentation player directly, other software
services have to control it all or nothing. Microsoft is lagging
wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind the competition in audio-video. Because EVERYBODY
has to tell them what they want and I think what we all want is a
programmable PP player native to the format itself.
