view in XP from single window to multiple

In XP all of the open windows use to appear in the bar at
the bottom. Now Excel just displays as one item on the
bar below and I must use Excel's "Windows" menu item to
switch b/t them. How do I switch it back?
 
In Excel: Tools | Options | View tab | Windows in Taskbar
