view files

I am not able to view pdf files. Everytime I try to open a
page in pdf, just a box appears. could someone please help
me figure out how to set up my browser.
 
Which version of the reader are you using?

If you have IE 6 then suggest you download Adobe's ver 6, remove any
previous version and install the new download.

Or,

Try this URL from Adobe on configuring IE or AOL to display PDF files.
And other issues.
