videochat between Mac OS and Windows

Is there any freeware - better OpenSource ware - that allows to have
video calls between a MacOS and Windows ? I have a friend that invited
me to install AOL AIM but I prefer not to use AOL.

I look for video phone/chat and skype for Mac does not have the video
capacity
