video upside down

In Movie Maker use the Rotate 180 Effect.

Just drag the video clip to the timeline and
drag / drop the effect on top of it.

I'm having the same problem with video imported from a DVD.

Pardon the ignorance, but I am totally new to Movie Maker. Where is "rotate
180" found?

In the effects.
You may find though if you are using an mpeg file that this may be the cause
of it being upside down and converting it to wmv will make life much easier.
