video signal during setup

I have a system with lcd monitor, when I start installation of XP it goes to
a black screen with input signal out of range , during inspecting hardware
phase. Is there a way to override the default video signal??

Your monitor is doing this because the video card stopped sending a
signal. This happens during driver installation when it is installing
the video driver. What you are asking is to do with your monitor and not
the OS.
