Hi all,
I have a compaq SP700 professional workstation with a Intense 3d 3600 video
adapter.
It took me quite a while to find the correct drivers.
Until recently I 've never noticed that the only settings available for it
are 32bit (true color). I cannot change it to 16 bit or 256 colors .
I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them multiple times with the same
results.
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG/CurrentControlSet/SERVICES/GLZMPD(which is the
driver)/DEVICE0/DefaultSettings.BitsPerpel value= (32) but I cannot see
anything else that could give the option to modify the setting. Is there a
key I could add ?
Thanks

This is driver-centric. If you can't do it through the GUI you probably
can't do it. You may be able to switch to the default video adaptor driver
in windows and have this setting though.
