Video Processor

Mr. Fail

The Problem I am having is using my laptop to watch tv. I
right now have an Alienware computer w/ Microsoft XP
Professional and a N4 Video Processor. I want to be able
to use my laptop kind of like a dummy monitor so I can
watch tv or play video games. I have the video processor
hooked up but I can't seem to figure out how to put the
computer so that it goes through the processor to where
all I have to do is hit input on the Video Processer and
the screen will switch to that input either it being the
tv mode or to the xbox so I can play that. Any help would
be appreciated.

The external VGA plug on most laptops are for out-going signals (to another
monitor) and not incoming signals (the way you want it to do.

You might ask Alienware help.

You have to have a source for TV signals and this has to get
into the video card where it will be either converted to a
RGB signal to display on the laptop or passed through to a
TV NTSC display.
