Something very strange....
I have never seen or heard of before.
Why does that amaze me...

There are several rows of rows across the monitor screen that do not show up
on a print screen, and it appears at post. The rows appear to have a blue
back ground with the letter "O" or some facsimile...

Anyone point me please.

The computer has an older Number Nine Hawk I, and the drivers are correct.

Thanks ,
don

Sorry for the half minded explanation...
The Video Card in the Number Nine
I stopped by, put it in, downloaded the drivers, reset the IRQ's to Auto for
the PCI slots in question, checked and reset settings on the monitor. Booted
three or four times, let it burn in for an hour while I took care of some
other business at the church and rechecked it afterward and all was working
great. Someone called a few hours later with the three or four rows of one
symbol with a back ground.

My guess is the Video card.

Any seen it before?

thx,
don

Thanks Bob,

The lines, I discovered can be removed by accessing the adjustments of the
monitor. Just access the menu and off again and its gone. I am like you,
it's video, but am narrowing it down to drivers first. I may change the
Video card, if the drivers don't get it. You are probably right.

Thank you very much for your post. These type posts rarely interest virtual
ferrets.

Back to the salt mines.

:o)

That vid card may need dedicated BIOS IRQ. Or it may be toast.
