Video driver listed under "Critical Updates and Service Packs" instead of "Driver Updates". Why?

I've noticed recently on several Win2K SP4 PCs I work on here that have all
the latest "Critical Updates and Service Packs" items applied, that "nVidia
driver version 52.16" is listed under "Critical Updates and Service Packs"
instead of "Driver Updates".

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

I generally don't trust driver updates from M$, better to get them from the
manufacturer.

Well, yeah, I mean, it's been my experience that attempting to update video
drivers via Windows Update is a disaster about half of the time, requiring
Safe Mode and sometimes Recovery Console to recover from.

So imagine my concern that a non-critical update should appear in the
Critical Updates category. Corrupt database?
