Video device in use error

I just upgraded to movie maker 2 and started getting the
error "the video device is currently in use. Close any
other application that is using the device and try again."
My video device is an ATI all in Wonder 128 AGP card and
everything was working fine before the upgrade. I will
appreciate any suggestions.

Did you find out what your problem was because i am having the same problem. Do you have another movie making program on your computer like I do. I have Showbiz and everything works fine in that program.

I have the same problem too. Anyone more qualified than dare offer an explanation?

.
The problem is still there. To make sure something else
in my computer was not the problem I got the old Movie
Maker program and that one worked. I can also capture
video with the Multimedia Center program that came with
the ATI video board. So in short the Movie Maker 2
program just does not like something in my setup.
