Hi,

First thing is go to start: run: dxdiag. See what it
shows for version bottom of page. If it doesnt find it
then you need directx to install. Also what kind of video
card do you have? Do you have the current driver for the
card? If it is in wrong vidwo mode it probably wont work
for the game.
