On the 62nd floor a gold plated door won't keep ou

My new mb says not to use a video card that is 3.3v agp. I am using an
e-geforce4 MX440-8X 64MB which seems to me to be an average card.

Is 3.3v an old card or a very new card?

It's telling you to not use old 3.3 volt (only) AGP 1x and 2x cards. AGP 4x
and up is 1.5 and .8 volts.

There are also multivolt cards and multivolt motherboards.

Motherboard Key(s) Speed(s) Voltage(s)
AGP 3.3v 3.3v 2x, 1x 3.3v
AGP 1.5v 1.5v 4x, 2x, 1x 1.5v
Universal AGP none 4x, 2x, 1x 3.3v, 1.5v
AGP 3.0 1.5v 8x, 4x 0.8v
Universal 1.5v AGP 3.0 1.5v 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x 1.5v, 0.8v
Universal AGP 3.0 none 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x 3.3v, 1.5v, 0.8v

Graphics Card Key(s) Speed(s) Voltage(s)
AGP 3.3v 3.3v 2x, 1x 3.3v
AGP 1.5v 1.5v 4x, 2x, 1x 1.5v
Universal AGP 3.3v, 1.5v 4x, 2x, 1x 3.3v, 1.5v
AGP 3.0 1.5v 8x, 4x 0.8v
Universal 1.5v AGP 3.0 1.5v 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x 1.5v, 0.8v
Universal AGP 3.0 3.3v, 1.5v 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x 3.3v, 1.5v, 0.8v

Thank you.

I sort of assumed that... but then I got to thinking about all the stuff I
read about new cards needing more PS wattage and wondered if I were assuming
wrong.

Thanks again.
