Video Card For Vista!

OK! I've recently purchased two different video cards from wal-mart,
installed them and tried running vista. the first one, a low end nVidia
GeForce 4000 something or other wouldn't even dare run it! The other one, an
ATI Radieon ran it fine but when it came to the Aero Glass stuff, it was a no
go! After researching the site I discovered that it was because that card
wasn't good enough either. SO.. could someone PLEASE tell me what video card
I should purchase so I can run this damn Beta OS and get EVERYTHING out of
it?!

At this point I'm about ready to send the disc back to Micro$oft and tell
them to shove it up their @ss along with all the money I'm spending trying to
run their stuff!

Thanks in advance! I know you guys and girls will be able to steer me in
the right direction!

Also, could you please respond to (e-mail address removed) so I'm sure to get
the reply! It is MUCH APPRECIATED! Again, thanks in advance!!

Had a Matrox 256 Parhelia, wouldn't do Aero, bought an ATI X700, does it
well.

Seemed like a pretty good tip at the time. Albeit a bit on the obvious side
to some of us. At any rate, ya gotta admit, it's a much better strategy than
yelling at Microsoft after the fact ;-)

Vista works fine on my NVidea 5200 card after I downloaded and installed the
nVidea Beta Vista driver (88.61) which after installation shows up as
version 8.8.6.1.
